The metal casing and build quality are excellent. I tested the 128GB version. As you can see, the 'sequential' read/write speeds are impressive. The 'random' read speeds are above average. While the 'random' write speeds are just barely adequate. In real world use the slow random write speeds reduce overall performance relative to the similarly-priced Lexar USB 3.1 M45 Jumpdrive. Both of these drives are very compact (about half- to one-quarter the size of a typical USB (type-A) flash drive. But the killer feature of this DM drive is the additional USB-C port. Both are an upgrade from SanDisk drives costing under $35 (non-Pro, non-USB 3.1). So if you're shopping for a compact, metal drive for daily use then get the Lexar for its speed. If for a dual-port, compact, metal drive for flexible use then get this DM drive. If you're shopping for the fastest drive in this $20-$22 price range (128GB), then get the Vansuny 128GB USB3.1 dual-port (silver U21 with JMicron Tech controller).
